Zeithain Obelisk Monument

The restored obelisk is reminiscent of the held maneuver August the Strong of 1730, in the vernacular called "The Lustlager".

One of the four surviving obelisks of the Zeithainer Lustlager stands here and you can see it up close. The other three are in the middle of fields near Streumen. An information board also provides information on the history of the Zeithain military training area.

As a boundary stone at the old camp, this bears witness to the so-called "Zeithainer Lustlager".
