The Gabler House on the Cheb market square is essentially a late Gothic two-storey house. According to the chronogram above the portal, it was rebuilt in the Rococo style in 1773. The window panels above and below the windows are decorated with rich Rococo ornamentation, enriched with allegories of the four seasons. Above the portal there is a relief of the Madonna with the chronogram, and above the central window there is a dove of the Holy Spirit.

The house, with a richly structured and decorated facade in the Rococo style, is one of the most valuable results of the late Baroque renovations in the 18th century. This house, which is essentially late Gothic, was bought by the Jesuits in 1657. They wanted to demolish it and the neighboring houses and replace it with a convent building. The building was never built and the Madonna relief with a chronogram (1662) from this period has been preserved above the portal.
