The Oker [ˈoːˌkɐ] is a 128.3 km[2] long left tributary of the Aller in Lower Saxony (Germany). It rises southeast of the mining town of Altenau at an altitude of 900 metres, on the Bruchberg in the Harz National Park. Due to its tributaries from the Brocken region, it is one of the most water-rich regional waterways.
