The oldest district in Braunschweig is the Magniviertel with its centrally located Magnikirchenplatz and the Magnikirche, which was founded in the 11th century. The quarter forms a well-preserved ensemble of half-timbered houses that house small cafés and shops. We particularly liked this district.
