A very small, two-story half-timbered house at Roßmarkt 1. It seems cut off.
The building was probably built in 1606 by Theiss Putzbach. In the tax assessment around 1685, the "Heusgen des Reinhardt Schneider ufm roßmarck" is assessed at the low sum of 50 Reichstaler. Schneider was a day laborer in the carpentry trade.
The tiny property with its asymmetry, which was probably caused by conversion measures in the 18th century, is characteristic of an early modern petite bourgeois house and shows the cramped living conditions of the lower classes.
