We chose today's route around Dillenburg.
We put together a route from well-known paths of the Rothaarsteig and extra tours, which was a strenuous 20 km.
With the temperatures rising again, it was a very pleasant route with lots of forest, small paths, and beautiful views of Dillenburg from the Bismarcktempel

Small, quick loop around Greifenstein to Beilstein Castle and over the Basalt Park.
Highlight, of course, is the Ulmtal dam with an amazingly good water level. Many bathers are taking to the cooling waters at the campsite to make it more bearable in these temperatures.

Today, at 39 degrees in the sun, we chose a small but fine round around the Fortuna mine. On small paths and almost permanently in the cooling shade of the forests, this round was really very beautiful.
