The upper floor of the pavilion houses, among other things, the bird sanctuary of the State Operating Company for the Environment and Agriculture (BfUL). The bird sanctuary's permanent exhibition on the life of birds is on the ground floor. It can be visited from April 1st Wed to Sun.

The permanent exhibition "Neschwitz Bird Protection Pavilion" was opened on August 8th, 2009 directly in the men's pavilion, where the BfUL/Saxon bird protection center is also based. Here you have the opportunity to take a look at the life of the birds in the heath and pond landscape. You can fly over Lusatia with the sea eagle, shed light on the difficult relationship between birds and humans and look over the shoulder of science in the research laboratory.
