About Uwe🐛

Ich wandere, bergwandere und kraxle gern irgendwo rum (bis 1989: u.a. Hohe Tatra, Riesengebirge, nach 1989 außerdem u.a.

    1. I was looking for a nice winter tour, but without having to trudge through deep snow... and decided (at short notice) to go on a Moritzburg tour again. Since I had already traveled everywhere in this area, I just found a gap in the tour north of the castle.

The conditions in the Moritzburg Forest were

    1. The Windberg....again....but a tour in a new constellation. Actually, the mountain is almost my local mountain, although in Freital, a short loop is about 15 km. But it shouldn't be such a small group. In Freital I quickly got to the west of the Windberg, but then made a very large southern turn and

    1. Something different today. South of Nossen the Bobritzsch, the Freiberger Mulde and a piece of Zellwald in the NSG Aschbachtal were on the agenda. First of all: The weather went from very cloudy to sunny... so everything was good from that point of view.

As always in winter, we started very early, i.e

    1. For my last Altenberg hiking needle tour, I had a spin-off tour planned. Again from Oberbärenburg, always with Schellerhau in constant sight and walking distance.

After the unfortunately usual winter time calculations (when do I have to start running so that I don't end up wandering around in the dark

    1. Today the ESG was announced again. Actually. But since I'm not 100% fit yet and today is October 31st, 2023 and was therefore in a way a special day for me, I went on another extended tour of the city at short notice with the main goal: my job in Wahnsdorf. Now you'll be wondering why I'm walking to

    1. After 2 years, today I hiked through the Rabenauer Grund again as the central theme of the tour. Right at the beginning I set my sights on the Somsdorfer Klamm, I couldn't find the starting path from the valley path, so I went steeply up through the forest, then down to the S. Klamm, in between up the

    1. Due to a cold, I had to throw out all my nice weekend plans. I actually just wanted to recover in peace. But in THAT weather that wasn't really possible. So I went for a quick walk in the air. Somehow the whole thing took on a life of its own and it turned out to be a nice autumn round. When touring

    1. After a long time, we went around the dam again, this time it was the turn of the TS Quitzdorf. During the GDR era we often went on bungalow holidays (Wacheberg), then the change came and we had more holiday options. But some ACHJA memories came up as I walked through there. Over 40 years ago...
