Especially nice for families with children. The many beautiful picnic areas invite you to linger :-)

Wild cats are inhabitants of structured forests, but they also have open areas within their territory. Like many other animal species, they suffer from the urban sprawl. This makes migration, genetic exchange or colonization of new habitats difficult in many places. Attempting to cross roads, railway lines and the like often ends fatally. Our wildcats live in a facility that you can walk through. You are moving on the "highway" that cuts through the cats' habitat here, as well as outside. With the green bridge in the facility, we show ways to avoid casualties in wild cats and other species. At the end of our Autobahn there is a pillar that provides you with detailed information on the subject.
Wild cats are protected under various international agreements and EU regulations. In Germany they are a strictly protected species under the Nature Conservation Act.
