Best Hikes to St. Anne and Gertrude Chapel

Tips

  • A sweet little brick chapel on the climb to Domberg. Should not you just leave it to the left.

  • The small chapel in front of the stone gate was built in the 15th century and served as the church of a nearby hospital. The octagonal central building symbolizes eternal bliss. It was given to pilgrims and travelers whose patron saint was Saint Gertrude of Nevilles. Today it is also used as a registry office. A replica of a pilgrim's cross erected in 1932 points to the connection between the pilgrimage movement to Wilsnack and the chapel.

  • In this small, beautiful chapel you can still say yes to the word today ... Definitely worth a visit. ..
