The Burggrafenstein at the end of the Prälatenweg was inaugurated in 1912 on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the city of Havelberg's homage to the first Hohenzollern ruler in the Mark, Burgrave Friedrich von Nuremberg.

The monument commemorates the entry of Burgrave Friedrich IV of Hohenzollern into the March of Brandenburg in 1412. The memorial stone was erected on December 17, 1912 to mark the 500th anniversary.
The monument consists of a boulder standing on a base. On the front of the boulder there is a bronze relief created by H. Engelhardt. It depicts the burgrave, who is flanked on the side by a knight and a city citizen. The large arched base is made of field stones.
It is located on Krugtorhohlweg in the northern part of the city, west of Havelberg Cathedral. The monument is registered as an architectural monument in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 98194.
