The East Frisian Tea Room is located directly on the Museum Harbor in Leer and is no longer an insider tip. For many visitors to Leer's beautiful old town, a cozy stop for East Frisian tea and delicious cake is part of a successful afternoon. The cakes and pastries baked according to the tea room's own "tea room recipe," such as the Tea Room Cake and the Admiral Cake, are particularly popular.

Regular customers enjoy meeting here at the large tables to sit comfortably together and chat. It's simply incredibly cozy in this living room with lots of brass fittings, spacious seating alcoves, a tiled fireplace, and great attention to detail.

Bünting Grünpack Tea is served, the most popular tea in East Frisia, prepared according to East Frisian ceremonies. The tea room in the heart of the old town on the Museum Harbor is open daily. The only exception of the year is Christmas Eve.

Welcome to the "East Frisian Tea Room at the Harbor," the flagship of the Bünting tea trading house in Leer, or as the East Frisians say: "Sett jo man eben tosamen" (Low German: Let's sit down together).
