Tips
The chapel near Hohenpölz was built for private reasons of a Hohenpölz family. It dates from the 19th century and was originally in the village of Hohenpölz. There it served as a procession altar at the Corpus Christi Festival, but was moved here due to the expansion of the passage through the course of the land consolidation from 1973.
It originally housed figures of St. Peter and St. Barbara. Unfortunately, these were stolen around 1960. Since then there has been a crucifix in the chapel, which was donated by a family from Hohenpölz.
