From the Red Pavilion, the Temple of Ceres, the approximately 500-meter-long and over 300-year-old avenue of lime trees extends in a westerly direction. The temple of Ceres opens the baroque complex as a corner point. The goddess of fertility, to whom this pavilion is dedicated, makes the park appear as a tribute to the beneficial powers of nature. Eight red-painted baroque columns support the slate-tipped, rounded roof and the concave ceiling. From the slightly elevated temple you can see the seemingly endless avenue of linden trees. The mighty tree tops form a green vault that provides the visitor with shade and coolness on the way to the castle.

The roof is an interesting singing bowl. I think it's a bit of a shame that the street goes around it, it loses its charm a little.
