Fantastically beautiful. After a lot of rain or snowmelt, the valley turns into a river, then the big tumbler goes full throttle.

A dry valley is a special feature of the karst region of Franconian Switzerland. Because there is no creek. Only after heavy rainfall (mostly in winter/spring) do two tumblers (karst springs that remain dry the rest of the year) spurt water and the valley turns into a small river. The nutrient-poor grasslands typical of Franconian Switzerland can be found on the slopes of the valley.

A very quiet valley, unless the bottlenose dolphin spits and that's not bad after the snow has melted or after weeks of rain.
