    The virgin cave might at first appear as a somewhat harmless cave; but it has a dark secret: excavations have found the skeletal remains of at least forty people (many children, some women, two men), probably around 5100 BC. Have become victims of a ritual celebration.
    The nearby so-called Black Cross is reminiscent of these dead.

    The scary story on the information board is already a ripper. Too bad, missing important and exciting details. From no other cult cave in the Franconian I know such a find.
    PS: I once browsed the net and found much newer and differentiated information. However, there is not much left of the scary story:
