The Von Velen Garden is open from April 15 to October 15 every day except Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note that the Van Velen Garden is a highlight in its own right and should not be confused with the Van Velen complex on the other side of the canal. If you come by car, there is a parking lot right next to the garden. This is also an excellent starting point for bike tours through Papenburg and the beautiful surrounding area. In the Von Velen Garden, visitors are invited to take a moment to pause from everyday life.
