Peaceful path along the Demer creek

The nature trail starts at a gate with information boards on the other side of the Kasteelstraat, approximately opposite the guest house (where the Maastrichterallee starts). You can also be there from the parking lot, turn left when you walk out of the parking lot. On the menu: grassland, reedbeds, possibly a little or a lot of mud, sunken roads, farmland, marsh forest and wetlands with meadows, some stretches of boardwalk, ascents and descents, paths between fields and scrub, views, mistletoe, streams, the Demer, walking gates , a lot of fruit (trees); in short: everything you could wish for on a quiet nature trail.

Very varied walking path. Pleasant to walk, but adapt your clothing/shoes according to the weather.
