We followed the river upstream through the Aberglaslyn pass. The narrow path along the river requires some skill. At certain points you have to be very careful, especially in rain or when the water is high.
However, you walk through a narrow gorge of considerable beauty, with beautiful views of a sometimes very turbulent river, rapids etc. In short, a very beautiful area.

Along this riverside path you'll take in the spectacular Aberglaslyn gorge with the Glaslyn river raging alongside the path. The path takes you along the right hand side of the river looking upstream. The river is immediately on your left and sometimes it is exposed. In some locations there are handrails and grab handles embedded in the rock. It is a stunning walk but take care. The footpath can be wet and slippy and in 'high' water conditions sections of it can be under water. In 'Spate' conditions most of it can be under water. DO NOT WALK THIS SECTION in spate conditions.
