The old bridge over the river or Afon Glaslyn is a great place to pause and watch the water go by. You can see down into the Aberglaslyn gorge with the rocky fisherman's path cutting its way along the opposite bank. This is a great trail to run from Beddgelert and you can turn it into a loop by running up Cwm Bychan to Lyn Dinas. The bridge is a Grade II-listed, 17th-century stone construction.
