Gentle walk alongside the River Wharfe passing it in all its glory from a sedate meandering river, babbling and bubbling sections through the tumultuous rushing waters at the Strid. Coffee and cake at the Cavendish Pavilion rounds the walk off. Parking at either Bolton bridge or Barden bridge is free but get there early as spaces are limited. Paid parking is available in Bolton Abbey village.
