A Walk up Pen Y Ghent
Pen Y Ghent is the forth highest peak in the Yorkshire Fales, and the lowest of Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks.
Starting Point: The village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale (which is accessible via the Leedd-Settle-Carlisle railway line). Public pay-and-display parking is available at the Yorkshire Dales National Park car park (public conveniences available)

Fountains Abbey Seven Bridges Walk
Starting at the Fountains Abbey main visitor centre. This is an easy going beautiful walk through the Fountain Abbey estate, through the deer park and over small 'pack horse' type bridges, through a sheltered valley returning to Studley lake.

Bolton bridge to Barden bridge via Bolton Abbey and Cavendish Pavilion circular
Gentle walk alongside the River Wharfe passing it in all its glory from a sedate meandering river, babbling and bubbling sections through the tumultuous rushing waters at the Strid. Coffee and cake at the Cavendish Pavilion rounds the walk off.
