When the last night ravens, startled by the daylight, leave the Oude Beestenmarkt on Sunday morning, the first animal marches already drive onto the square. A rare moment when two completely different cultures touch each other. The Oude Beestenmarkt is still a market where animals are traded. Although you can still go there for a second-hand bike.
