  • Officially the Werregarenstraatje but better known as the graffiti street. It is located between the Hoogpoort and the Onderstraat. A colorful mishmash of graffiti that regularly changes its appearance. Since 1995, this street has tolerated anyone who feels called upon to leave his or her creation behind. There is said to be only one rule: do not tackle works that are better than what you can shake out of your sleeve (rather aerosol);

  • This little street is one of two places in Ghent where grafitti art is legal (The other at the bridge in Keizerpark). It's super colourfull and from time to time there is a real masterpeace on display. Since it's a small backally it's also used as a public bathroom late at night so I wouldn't recommend touching anything.
