The kiosk from 1957 was reinstalled in the former government district near its original location. As an element of contemporary history, it is a listed building. Many well-known political names are associated with the small building.

The so-called Bundesbüdchen (Federal Büdchen) is a listed oval kiosk located in the former government district, now the federal district, in Bonn. From 1957, the kiosk stood between the then Federal Chancellery, the Bundesrat (Federal Council), and the Bundestag (German Parliament). It had to be dismantled in 2006 and was re-erected in May 2020 near its original location at the corner of Heussallee and Platz der Vereinigte Nationen.
