Niers is versatile, as are the walks along the river. Sometimes it's renatured areas and sometimes straight stretches. Most of the time, the paths go along both sides. You can design the hike so that you go one side and back on the other.

You can easily extend the Niersauen round to Viersen-Süchteln and so the walk becomes a nice little hike, on which you also get to know the new renatured section of the Niers between Süchteln and Oedt 👍
