This chapel was built in 1664 in honor of the patron saint Irmgard von Süchteln. The place of the chapel is called Heiligenberg. If you go south behind the chapel, you get to the Irmgardis fountain. The fountain only got a small, forged gate in 1948, which is provided with the three symbols of cross, heart and anchor. These signs represent the three divine virtues of faith, love and hope.
