The medieval moated castle of Myllendonk was built on stilts in the floodplains of the Niers. You can stop off in the gastronomy of the local golf club (with a beautiful outdoor terrace).

Baroness Therese von Wüllenweber was born on February 19, 1833 at Myllendonk Castle as the daughter of Theodor von Wüllenweber. She is the founder of the Salvatorian Sisters and became their Superior General. She is known as Mother Mary of the Apostles.
