Tips
Starting point of the hike is the hiking car park in Kainach. You go to the well in Kainach, keep left and turn on the opposite side in the Kaiserbachtal (Franconian mountain path). Follow this beautiful valley with its right and left standing rocks until just before Krögelstein. Krögelstein with its imposing rocks, such as the "Old Fritz" and the floor cave is worth a visit.
Only a swing arch reminds a few meters further to a castle, which was blown up by the mercenaries of the "Swabian League" in 1523 with 4 tons of powder in the air. Worth seeing is also the former castle chapel, today parish church.translated by
