About Radabenteurer

Nice area for alpine and cross-country skiing. Much fun yet.

The sun is shining, I have to go out. But is mud the new snow? 🤔 When the temperature is slightly below zero, it is slippery in some bends, so be careful and handlebars in the bend. From ice to gravel to mud, everything is there and that's how the bike and I looked. Doesn't matter, we could have taken roads too😔. If the 🌞 weren't so deep, you could have seen the Brocken 😎.
After the tour, a thorough cleaning was due for 🚲 and 🚵‍♂️

High time for an inspection tour through my home territory. Today, special attention is paid to the activities in the beaver areas.
And I can say that the beavers are pretty active. Not only do the chips fly, but one or the other tree also falls. They just do what they can. After all, that is nature.

The RE2 goes from Sarstedt to Kreiensen.
In Bad Gandersheim, the market has a historical backdrop and the St. Anastasius and St. Innocentius Cathedral, construction of which began in 881. In front of this backdrop, the Cathedral Festival takes place every year - except in times of corona pandemic. Visiting was unfortunately not possible because the churches were closed against the notice board. It's a shame, I'll be back again, because the interior and its equipment should be very attractive. On the old railway line it goes comfortably uphill towards Lamspringe. To the right and left of the route you can see all the trees of the year and lots of statues, if you take the time.
The Lamspringe monastery complex impresses with its size and the Kosterkirche, which is unfortunately also closed.
So continue on single trails to the moated castle Bodenburg and Bad Salzdetfurth. The restaurants are also closed, so the emergency ration has to be enough.
The ascent in the Hildesheim forest is leisurely, but it takes a long time. 4 peaks are connected with a flowing single trail: Hamm-, Tosmar-, Stucken- and Ziegenberg.
In Diekholzen there is finally a coffee break with delicious cakes from the Engelke bakery.
Via Marienrode, Ochtersum and Sarstedt we then head towards summer end and home.
It was longer than expected, but a tour worth seeing and driving. I'll do it again when it's 10 ° C warmer.

Spontaneously used the good weather for a ride 🤗
There is not so much flight activity on the Koldinger Seen today 🦢🦆. So on to Ruthe for a cup of coffee.

      Why look into the distance...
You drive into the Harz and the Alps and almost on the doorstep there are just as beautiful corners as the Hammberg. How good that a colleague showed me this area today. I'll be back here for sure.
The Waldfrieden forest restaurant is also a discovery. On the one hand, you can park well here. And after the hike is over, it's worth stopping for a stop.
👨🏻‍🍳 Feed like nuts 🍳 The homemade pork leg jelly is a poem 😋🏅👍

On a day like this you just have to get on your bike. How nice when you can combine a visit to the city with so much nature.
On the leash it was already slippery in places, but everything was mobile. And then through the leaves at speed 👍😎🤩

With the bike to the beach and then walk until you get hungry. This is how this tour in St. Peter-Ording can be summed up in one sentence.
And there is always a lot to see. Check it out for yourself.
P.s. The path through the dunes is rollercoaster in the truest sense of the word 🎢 😎
