My husband was at the eye doctor and wasn't allowed to drive afterwards. So I used the waiting time and went for a walk through the princely park in Greiz. There are many really big old trees there that provide good shade. It is a beautiful and well-kept park.

Today we went for a ride in the early morning before the reported heat. It was quite pleasant in the forest but in the sun 🥵🥴. It was then time to go home. But the peace and quiet did us good nonetheless.

We had to move again today. The weather was just awful here today 🙈. After dinner, the sun finally came out again and then we set off. It was wonderfully quiet and the fresh, clean air did us a lot of good.

Today we went through the forest again. The temperatures are currently okay and we only set off late in the afternoon. The sun was already low enough, so we had almost only shade on the paths. Mit der Bahn nach Jocketa, dann im Triebtal zur Pöhl und im Triebtal wieder zurück. Die Enkelin hat super durchgehalten 🥰 und schön wars auch 😉

Von Mistelbach durch das Mistelbachtal und Funkenbachtal wieder zurück
Heute spontan in die fränkische Schweiz gefahren, gewandert, Bier gekauft und dann noch einen Abstecher auf die Hohenmirsberger Platte und zum Gasthof Persau zum essen. Sehr schön wars 🥰

Rund um Neumühle mit vielen tollen Aussichten
Neumühle an der Elster ist ein kleines schuggelisches Örtchen. Wenn man oberhalb der Elster wandern geht gibts viele schöne Stellen zum schauen. Für Kinder ist der interessante Waldmauslehrpfad zu empfehlen.

Kirchberg Natur-und Bergbau Lehrpfad
Eine sehr schöne interessante und abwechslungsreiche Strecke, auch gut mit Kindern zu laufen. Einzig der alpine Steig vom kleinen Hirschstein ist wirklich alpin

Today Tom picked a beautiful route for us and we walked it as a family. The nature and mining history trail near Kirchberg on the western edge of the Ore Mountains is very beautiful and well-maintained. Today we were in Franconia again. We met up with @🚴🏻♂️Thomas 🥾 and @🥾🐾WanderpfotenTeam🐾🥾 in Plech at the hiking parking lot and they picked out a very nice route. The many small and large caves are always worth seeing and interesting. To round off the day, we had a delicious Schnitzel.
