Marie Drechsler - a woman from Zeegendorf - had visions and urged her to look for a host on the Steinknock hill.
The first pilgrimage chapel was built later, in 1720. Today's chapel is the third building and dates from 1895.
Attention: Unfortunately, this pilgrimage chapel is NOT permanently open! Access to the chapel can be obtained from the parish of Mistendorf, for example. (Tel. 09505 / 348)
