The opening scenes of the very successful two-part feature film âHindenburgâ (2011) were shot up here.
On nice days you have a really impressive view of the Franconian Switzerland, the Steigerwald, the Obermaintal and even the Rhön.
In summer, protected plants such as purple pasque flowers, delicate blue flax, wild thyme and smaller orchids bloom on the dry, poor meadow.
