Along the panoramic circular route you have a unique view of the Regnitz valley between Forchheim and Bamberg. When the weather is nice, the view extends far into Franconian Switzerland, the Steigerwald, the Obermaintal and even the Rhön.
In addition, columbine, pasque flower, flax and orchid bloom in spring and rare butterflies can be observed while hiking.
