The Crown Prince Bridge in Berlin is a historic road bridge that crosses the Spree and connects the Mitte district with the government districtThe bridge was originally built between 1877 and 1879 and named after the then German Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm. It was badly damaged in World War II and provisionally restored after the warIn 1992, the bridge was rebuilt based on a design by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. The modern steel arch structure is 75.22 meters long and 22.62 meters wide
