The idea for the tour came from the book "Teutoburg Forest. Walks for the Soul: Wellbeing Paths" by Ingmar Bojes. Information about the tour is also available here teutoburgerwald.de/wandern-radfahren/in-der-natur/tour/klimaerlebnisroute-velmerstot-hermannshoehen-tourentipp-13
It wasn't really clear to me which climate changes I should see ... afterwards I can find the brochure with information on the Internet. There were repeated stretches of completely cleared coniferous forest.
Otherwise it was a varied route with wide views (especially from the highest mountains of the Egge Mountains) and beautiful deciduous forest sections. There are three restaurants on the edge of the Wages. These were closed like the Eggeturm. There were many hikers and e-mountain bikers on the way.

Change of location with "pit stop" in Extertal.
We go up to the high Asch with the observation tower, which is open and offers a good view.
At the beginning of the round there is a puzzle "The Treasure of the Schnattergang". Information on this here marketing-extertal.de/schnattergang

Now and then drizzle, which hardly disturbs in the deciduous forest, but lures snails out. We don't meet other people. In the beginning, Havesters raged in the woods. To protect the forest from the local people's sign seems ironic.
Some paths will be overgrown by the end of summer.

In the wind and occasionally short showers, the three of them hike through may-green forests. I like the eastern part of the Hildesheim Forest better with the many single trails.

Change of location with "pit stop" in Melsungen. Very pretty place with a lot of half-timbered houses. We start an artistic tour. It runs mainly on farm roads, offers wide views and some art objects. All in all a nice stop.

We mostly follow the mussel from Poppenhausen to Bad Kissingen.
      camino-europe.eu/de/eu/de/jakobswege/jw-vacha-fulda-wuerzburg/jw-vacha-fulda-wuerzburg-bad-kissingen-poppenhausen
The stage was a success. There are a few smaller roads with little traffic, especially a lot of forest 🌲 🌳 and meadows.
We choose the detour to the wine village of Ramsthal and find it 🍾 there was still space in our rucksack. The place Ramsthal has developed a few hiking ideas ramsthal.de/aktivitaten.html#wandern
We enjoy the view from the Wittelsbacher tower. The tower cannot currently be climbed. The restaurant is open for "to go" on a few days.
I like Bad Kissingen with the Luipoldpark a lot.
Funny: On July 8th, 2017 I was on my first Komoot tour at the Wittelsbach Tower ... it was a round tour, at that time I had problems with the functions of the APP, so only a short distance was recorded ... https: // www. komoot.de/tour/19245743

First of all, some information about an interesting project: we are hiking on 8 May + 9 May, add the outdoor crew as a participant komoot.de/user/draussencrew and for every km Komoot donates 10 cents to the WaldMachtMut project

      Today:
Another tour from the Schweinfurter Oberland komoot.de/tour/224425019 - We hardly discovered mills, the paths often on bike paths (without cyclists). The stretch between Hausen and Marksteinach was the most beautiful.

In the morning clouds are still moving over the country, so we don't start until 1:00 p.m. After a snack in the café at the old Heidekrautbahn station, the route takes you through forests, lakes and into the always beautiful Briesetal. There are many families and many dog owners out on Sunday afternoon.
The route / idea comes from Frank - thanks for that! I think it's an ideal combination of trails in this beautiful area.

First of all, a big THANK YOU to Frank for the idea and organization of this Komoot relay hike. It pays homage to the 66 lakes hiking trail developer Manfred Reschke.
With a bit of luck we got hold of the stage that we hiked for the first time with our book (3rd edition 2005) in 2006 during the asparagus season. Because of the asparagus, we changed the route a little in the following years and hiked on from Stücken towards Beelitz. Because 25 km seemed very long to us at the time, we called the hike the “Asparagus Marathon” and almost every year we hiked in alternating company towards culinary delights.
      Route:
Today the three of us actually started at Seddin train station. Thomas recorded the entire route (29 km) komoot.de/tour/349135724
First it goes along the Great Seddiner See. As always, I like the village of Wildenbruch very much. Through a wooded piece with the Ortolan circular path we reach pieces. Here, too, there are two dining establishments that are currently offering to go. We avoid about 8 cars on the unavoidable stretch of road to Blankensee - acceptable. In Blankensee - as always - the Röhrig bakery awaits us - the crumble cake is unbeatable.
This is followed by a section of the path unknown to us with the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park Center. A visit is worthwhile, just because of the many information brochures. I really like the new route to the Löwendorfer Berg. In the Trebbin there is a small detour to the Nuthe. Asparagus is already being sold in town (from the Syringhof).
5 out of 66 lakes were touched:
      Small Seddiner lake
      Great Seddiner Lake
      Kähnsdorfer See
      Katzwinkel
      Blankensee
Conclusion: it was interesting to walk the route from west to east and, as always, it was very varied and beautiful! The title of the book is: the bird paradise - yes, there were a lot of birds, unfortunately the smartphone is not the right tool for this. Thomas managed to take a picture of two swans with the camera, which came very close before our eyes.
More than sufficient marking - we could easily follow the blue point.

In the most beautiful spring weather today, a four-person mountain tour near Bad Freienwalde.
The restaurant on the Baase was open and many people bought to go and settled nearby.
The route is beautiful and varied all around.
