This year we are seven. We are doing the route in summer temperatures. There are a few mosquitoes but they leave us alone. The refreshment stops in Blankensee, Stücken, Schlunkendorf and Beelitz are as refreshing as ever. Unfortunately, the asparagus in Beelitz has already been eaten. This will not happen to us next year.

With a large group, we head from Bad Harzburg into the Harz mountains, which are predominantly covered by beech forests. We see only a few regions with tree dieback. I really like the narrow path on Butterberg. The view from Rabenklippe is worth it. The gastronomy is recommendable. We can even sit outside

In a large group, we ascend to Schalke Höhe - unfortunately, the observation tower is no longer there. Donations are requested there.
The weather is kind - no rain! The battered forest offers a good panoramic view and is slowly recovering.

Today as a couple - the rest hope for wind and sail - another round from the location. In the Mondragó Nature Park, there are always beautiful sections. Perhaps a bit too many flower pictures... At the end, we even go for a swim - but only briefly, the sea is not that warm yet. Overall a nice round.

As eleven a beautiful coastal hike, which would have required a pre-hike from km 13. In the end, we somehow managed to leave the coastal path up to the town… Cala Figuera surprises with numerous small (former) fishermen's houses along the water.

On Good Friday, three of us, and then four of us, from Borgsdorf to Schönwalde. Luckily, the Forsthaus was open and the cafe at the train station was very nice again. I managed to get the last piece of quark cake there - which has long been called cheesecake.

The Gränert nature reserve is certainly worth a visit, but only during mosquito-free times; after a short exposure, we left the area in a hurry.
