During the week it is usually rather relaxed in the area and in 'bad weather', luckily there are water-shy people :).
The Berlin Wall Trail runs along here and reminds us of those times. History was and is written here.
The reflections in the glazing are very nice to look at and offer fascinating motifs.

Federal Chancellery Berlin
The Federal Chancellery is a building in the Tiergarten district of Berlin (Mitte district) and the seat of the German federal authority of the same name. As part of the move of the German federal government from Bonn to Berlin, the office moved into the new building planned by the architects Axel Schultes and Charlotte Frank. The building is part of the “Bund des Bundes” building group in Spreebogen, Willy-Brandt-Strasse 1, 10557 Berlin.

In my opinion, Helmut Kohl's washing machine is anything but beautiful. This whole government bar on the Spreebogen is a single catastrophe made of steel, a lot of glass and a lot of concrete.
Designed by the architects Axel Schultes and Charlotte Frank during the term of office of Chancellor Helmut Kohl and built from 1997 to 2001, it was ready for use by Chancellor Gerhard Schröder on May 2, 2001.
