Egloffstein Castle is a former high medieval aristocratic castle located immediately west of the town of the same name, Egloffstein, in the Upper Franconian district of Forchheim in Bavaria.

The spur castle is located in the Franconian Switzerland-Veldenstein Forest Nature Park at an altitude of 443 meters on a two-sided, east-facing rocky outcrop of the Rabenstein, about 80 meters above the town in the Trubach Valley in Franconian Switzerland.
