The brewery was founded in 1897 and has since been run as a family business in the 5th generation.
In their wood-fired brewing kettle, they brew the popular HOFMANN'S DROP with raw materials from the region.
The dark EXPORT with 5.2% alk. and our natural cloud HELLES with 4.9% alk. are brewed in a traditional brewing process.
After one week of open main fermentation follows a 4-6 week maturation in the storage tanks.
Then it is ready for bottling in barrels and barrels.
In the period from Nov. to Dec. there is also the tasty FESTBIER with 5.5% alk.
The beers are also available in the barrel sizes 10,15,20,30 and 50 liters for parties.
In the rustic dining rooms, they serve typical Franconian specialties for their dark Hofmann's Tropfen, from the lunch plate to the Schäuferla and daily changing daily specials.
The guest room can accommodate up to 110 people. In summer you can go to the beautiful beer garden
with 120 seats to enjoy a balmy summer evening with a cool half.

Attention! Unwanted guests should be at the door.
Yesterday we were treated very rudely for the second time within a year and then left without an order. If you are already overwhelmed during the week with average numbers of guests, you should avoid it on weekends and public holidays.
My friends from Upper Bavaria asked whether the Franks are usually so unfriendly.
In the Lindenbräu it became clear how this can be done better. Super friendly, courteous conditions where you could tell that she enjoys her work.
