A little bit north of the marking on the map is Tadeplatz with a Tade memorial stone. The exact spot could not be marked due to a faulty recording (the komoot app got stuck).
Next to the Flakensee beach promenade is a heap of boulders, one of which bears the inscription 'Otto Tade 1919'.
Otto Tade was chairman of the Woltersdorfer Beautification Association from 1897 to 1899 and from 1907 until his death in 1919. He belonged to a group of men made up of businessmen, factory owners or large farmers. They combined tradition and a sense of homeland with the beginning of the new technological era. The sleepy farming village of Woltersdorf was restructured into a popular place for excursions thanks to her energy.
