The Karutzsee is somewhat hidden and off the well-known hiking trails. Only the Albert-Kiekebusch-Weg leads past him in the direction of the spa gardens. For me, a designated connection is missing for an Erkner tour (e.g. via Lindwall and Schützenwäldchen) to the Spreeblick rest area with a connection to the Bretterschen Graben and Rathauspark. For my Erkner tour (see komoot.de/tour/211042212) I found my way through the rather unsightly shopping center on Neu Zittauer Straße.
