Beautiful riverside path along the Flakensee. It is very easy to walk here, wide and level enough for prams. In some parts the path leads in the shade of the forest, often revealing wonderful views of the lake. Some benches invite you to linger, and small swimming areas invite you to splash around.

The Theodor-Fontane-Weg along the Löcknitz is particularly scenic and we read one of Fontane's most beautiful texts on a wooden plaque.

The Theodor-Fontane-Weg, which runs here as part of the 66-lake hiking trail from the parking lot on the Fangschleusenstraße near Erkner along the Löcknitz in the direction of Woltersdorf to the beach promenade, was given the additional name "Waldpoesie- Path "provided.This name extension is intended to take into account the fact that Erkner is not only closely connected to nature, but also to literature.Inauguration of the "new" forest poetry trail was on September 11th, 2020.Source: erkner.de/index.php?id=138&L=864&tx_ttnews%5Btt_news%5D=982&cHash=20542ea422c2e851414ed2a6ba95d314
