wonderful autumn weather with all its splendor of colors lured out this morning. After a fat cold, stepped down a bit, luckily with considerate company on the way and thus being able to fully enjoy the round: Simply beautiful !:

When I showed up at my mother's place this morning, she was, as usual, ready to go! It had been about a 1000m lap around the Dreisam for a long time. ... just barely enough for them with pain. To my surprise, she initially greeted me as usual, looked at me and said, quite unexpectedly: Today we're going to the Hirzberg! - I was really amazed! 😳 - ... we didn't quite make it, but ... it really touched me! More than twice the length and 60 m! (komoot only shows 50 Hm)
      ... we stay tuned! 🍀
Conclusion: Challenges (of course not Everestings) are not just for young people! 😃😉
The unexpected flowers along the way were our highlights, in addition to the play of light and colors in the wonderful autumn sun 😊

A classic that I always wanted to make and yet had always pushed ahead of me ... Now by Komootler Stefan Pittelkow, the bike rider who rode the days, inspired me again, so just included in the planning. I'm curious to see how from ... 😉

At first the weather seemed unsuitable because wet and cold ... the world usually looks different on the bike ...
... and then the sun came out!
      Tip top!
Unfortunately, not everything was cycle path, partly on the road or partly unpaved. Most of the time, really recommendable! 😊👍 ... even in autumn! 😉

The Saturday after ...Saturday, December 11th, 2021There are now 2 months left so there is enough time to make a note. Put the tour public. Let's see maybe we can get a nice group together. If you are interested in participating, simply register here in the comments.Greetings Patrick ;-)

A recommended Black Forest tour, as it is varied and exciting! (Idea of my sister's friend, alias "Maraike" in komoot)
... some demanding vertical meters on the ascent over the old Spirzensteig route (but largely car-free: "only for residents"). At the top you will be rewarded with beautiful views all around, typical of the Black Forest, and from Neuhäusle you can also enjoy a "cool", shady, wooded descent down to the Hexenlochmühle and along the narrow road through the legendary Wildgutach Valley, later Simonswäldertal to Waldkirch; be sure to combine it with a visit to the Bleibach charnel house chapel!
