Over meadows and forest paths, with magnificent views, we started towards the Val Gardena. The second part of the trail after the lunch break with delicious food and a brilliant view became a bit more difficult as it went over narrow forest paths with many roots and through a landslide slope.

Easter visit in St. Gallen. Since we were at Falkenburg for lunch, a short hike around the three ponds was a good option. Afterwards, a bit more strolling in the city and the visit was over.

Rain was forecast again today. Therefore, after getting up, the precipitation radar was consulted. No rain in sight, so off on foot to the Franzensfeste fortress.
The fortress is very extensive and winding. We certainly covered another 2 km according to Komoot.
