After the end of the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648), Löcknitz was largely in ruins, with only the castle and the fortifications and the castle mill remaining. The rivers Welse and Randow now formed the new border between Brandenburg and Swedish Pomerania. As a result, Löcknitz with its fortified castle became an important Brandenburg border fortress against Sweden after 1650.

The Arkonka stream flows into the lake, and the Osówka River used to flow through it as well. In the 20th century, there was a bathing area here, which was eventually closed down. The reservoir is currently stocked with fish. Bathing is prohibited. The sandy beaches and the clearing by the lake (with a place to light a bonfire) are a stop on the nearby hiking and cycling trails (including the yellow hiking trail of the Arkoński Forest Park). They are also a popular place for walks by the residents of Szczecin. There is also a 3.5-kilometer running trail around the lake,

4월 15, 2024, Locknitz History Monument
I haven't found the official name, but the monument contains important events in the history of Locknitz in the form of "history cards" arranged on an oval pedestal, on which various facts from the history of the city are written.

3월 19, 2024, Ruins of Quistorp Tower
It was built in the years 1900-1904 on the orders of Martin Quistorp as a tribute to Father Johannes, a Szczecin manufacturer and philanthropist, the founder of many city investments and a very influential man. Quistorp Tower, together with the surrounding area, developed with numerous alleys and garden greenery, was the destination for Sunday walks for the residents of Szczecin. The tower was designed by Franz Schwechten, one of the Berlin architects, a collaborator of Walter Gropius. The circumstances and exact time of the tower's destruction are not entirely clear. One version says that the tower was destroyed in 1944 as a result of one of the Allied bombing raids, another - that it was blown up by the Germans in 1945 during the battles for Szczecin, because it was an easy point of reference for Soviet artillery. Currently, there are fragments of the building on the hill, partially covered with earth and overgrown. Next to the remains is the entrance to the underground. 11월 27, 2023, Löcknitz Castle
The history of the city dates back to 1127, when the Slavs built a defensive stronghold in the Randow River valley. The first mention of a defensive structure in Löcknitz dates back to 1212, and in 1242 a bridge was built in place of the ford. For years, the border between Pomerania and Brandenburg running through here justifies the fortified character of the town. Once Löcknitz belonged to the Pomeranian princes, once to the Branderburgians. In the book Medieval Castles of Western Pomerania, Zbigniew Radacki wrote that the stronghold belonged to the bishops of Kamień. In 1280, a document on the division of the Kołobrzeg land was signed in the "castrum Lokenitz". In 1390, Bishop Filip von Rehberg renounced the castle to the princes of Szczecin, who gave it to the Wusses, knights from Lębork, "hus civitas i terra Lockenitze" for 3,000 marks towards the debt. Around 1400, the stronghold received a brick form, and in 1479 it came into the possession of the Schulenburg family. Then the place was rebuilt many times, in the mid-16th century it was converted into a Renaissance-style manor house. It lost its strategic importance in 1720 after the annexation of Brandenburg and Pomerania to Prussia.

8월 27, 2023, Polana Czerwona
After 1945, the buildings were handed over to the management of the Municipal Forests of the city of Szczecin, which created a forester's lodge here, initially called "Czerwona gajówka", and then "Red Forester's Lodge" after the color of the bricks from which it was built, and unlike the one located nearby at Miodowa Street " White forester's lodge. In the 1990s, the buildings of the forester's lodge were demolished, and a recreational area was created in the resulting clearing. It has been fenced, equipped with sheds, benches and places to light a fire. In the place of the lake, the "Arkonka" bathing resort was created, which has now been thoroughly rebuilt.
