After a major town fire in 1702, the gate was rebuilt with some structural modifications. From 1976 to 1991, it housed the Tribsees Local History Museum (a small local history museum), which later moved to the Stone Gate and finally to another building in 2007.

The current castle was built on the foundations of a moated castle from the 14th century between 1846 and 1850. It is one of the most important castle buildings in Western Pomerania in the Tudor style / neo-Gothic. Today the castle is used as a hotel with a restaurant. The extensive park is open to the public and invites you to take a walk.

Regionally grown mustard seeds are milled into special delicacies at the Schlemmin mustard mill. Around 30 varieties of mustard are available to sample and, of course, purchase in the farm shop. Tours of the production facility are available twice daily at 12 and 2 p.m. You can enjoy a coffee on the farm shop terrace.

The manor house in Deyelsdorf was built on the foundations of an older building in the mid-19th century and redesigned around 1885. After 1945 the manor house was used for residential purposes, but a youth club was also set up here. The house was sold to a new owner in 2002 by the municipality. The gradual renovation has begun, the manor house is inhabited.
