The Trebeltal was the state border between Pomerania and Mecklenburg, which was once difficult to cross and had only a few crossings. Medieval castles with guard and protective functions stood on both sides of the river. One of them was the castle near Nehringen. The history of the bridge probably goes back to the early 16th century. A bridge over the Trebel built by Degener Bugenhagen near his estate at Nehring is documented for the first time in 1504. However, this was apparently destroyed again after a short time due to disputes between Dukes Bugislaw and Heinrich and one can assume that there was no longer a Trebel crossing here from the end of the 16th century until the construction of the bascule bridge.

The manor house in Deyelsdorf was built on the foundations of an older building in the mid-19th century and redesigned around 1885. After 1945 the manor house was used for residential purposes, but a youth club was also set up here. The house was sold to a new owner in 2002 by the municipality.
