After a major town fire in 1702, the gate was rebuilt with some structural modifications. From 1976 to 1991, it housed the Tribsees Local History Museum (a small local history museum), which later moved to the Stone Gate and finally to another building in 2007.

The stone, approximately three meters high, is located in the park on Clara-Zetkin-Straße. The original inscription reads: "The dead of two world wars urge us to live in peace." Later, an additional plaque was added with the inscription: "Glory and honor to the fighters of the anti-fascist resistance." This memorial serves as a reminder of the victims of both world wars and reflects the commemorative culture of the GDR at that time, which focused on peace and anti-fascism.

The mill gate was built in the 13th century and rebuilt with modifications in 1702 after a fire.

At the weekend there is a café next door that serves delicious homemade cakes and tarts.

A church worth seeing, built entirely of field stones.

The church is beautiful, but the trees are great too, including the spruce, which makes it impossible to take a good photo.
