Great bike path that runs right along the promenade. Lots of pedestrians during peak season - caution is advised. On the Polish side, the bike path is even lit at night.

The Freest local history museum at Dorfstrasse 67 may be interesting, as there should be an opportunity to find out something about the Freest fisherman's carpets that were lost during the fall of the Wall.

The wide, fine-grained sandy beach in front of Heringsdorf is monitored by lifeguards in the summer season. It has been certified several times with the “Blue Flag” environmental quality mark as a symbol of sustainable tourism. You can rent beach chairs at several of the beach entrances.

The wooden plank path connects the marina with the pier in Lubmin. It runs directly behind the dike along the water. Very nice path.

The church was built around 1300 under the patronage of the Eldena monastery and was badly destroyed several times. The church received its current shape around 1750.
