The Dahner castles group consists of the rock castles Altdahn, Grafendahn and Tanstein. All three are exceptionally well restored and thus offer an authentic castle experience. Admission is free.

If you plan to visit the Altdahn castles, you should definitely bring more time, because the rock castle ruins are very winding and there is a lot to discover.
There is an excellent all-round view from the tower.
Mostly without admission, but there is also the castle museum (with admission).

The castle Altdahn is the ruin of a rock castle in the southern Palatinate Forest, the German part of the Wasgau (Rhineland-Palatinate).
